
Bankura, April 12: Enthusiasm is palpable among BJP supporters in Bankura district of West Bengal ahead of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit. A significant number of supporters are gathering in the Sonamukhi assembly constituency in anticipation of his arrival.
One BJP supporter remarked that Adityanath’s visit signifies a new beginning for the region. Another supporter expressed hope for change, stating, “We have faced numerous challenges in West Bengal for the past 15 years, and we believe this time will bring transformation.”
Yogi Adityanath is recognized as one of the BJP’s key star campaigners, with a high demand for his rallies during elections. Recently, he campaigned in the Assam assembly elections, addressing several public gatherings.
This election in West Bengal is deemed crucial and historic. As the date for the first phase of voting approaches, the BJP is mobilizing all its resources. On Sunday, Adityanath will address election rallies in Bankura and Purba Medinipur.
The elections in the state will occur in two phases. Voting for the first phase is scheduled for April 23, while the second phase will take place on April 29. The counting of votes will occur on May 4.
