Beijing, March 28: Wang Yi, a member of the Central Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party and Foreign Minister, spoke on March 27 with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
During the conversation, Ishaq Dar updated Wang Yi on the current situation in Iran and Pakistan’s stance. He expressed gratitude for China’s support in Pakistan’s mediation efforts. Dar emphasized that a ceasefire, the end of hostilities, and the restoration of peace are shared aspirations among various parties. He noted that this is a crucial moment to resume peace talks.
The international community should encourage both the United States and Iran to return to the negotiating table and find effective ways to achieve peace.
