Tehran, March 28: On the 29th day of military conflict, Iranian President Masoud Paješkian asserted that Iran will respond decisively to any actions taken by the United States and Israel. In a social media post, he warned that while Iran does not initiate conflict, it will not retreat if attacked.
Paješkian cautioned that any assault on Iran’s infrastructure or economic sites would provoke a strong retaliation. He also advised neighboring countries that if they seek development and security, they should refrain from using their land to host enemies of Iran.
Iran has consistently claimed that its military actions target only U.S. installations. However, officials from Gulf countries disagree, stating that attacks have also impacted hotels, airports, and residential areas.
Meanwhile, Iraq’s Ministry of Defense reported a drone incident at an oil field. A drone fell in the Majnoon oil field in southern Iraq but did not explode, averting significant damage. According to the ministry, there were no injuries from this incident, which occurred in one of Iraq’s most vital oil regions.
Additionally, Iran claimed to have targeted U.S. troops in Dubai. Ibrahim Jolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s military unit ‘Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters’, stated that the Iranian military launched missile and drone strikes on two locations where over 500 U.S. soldiers were present. He claimed these attacks resulted in substantial damage.
An Iranian official noted that U.S. forces are already hiding and fleeing from their bases. However, these claims from Iran have yet to be verified.
