Beijing, March 28: The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Lin Qian, expressed congratulations on March 27 regarding the oath-taking ceremony of Nepal’s new Prime Minister, Balendra Shah.
During a press briefing, Lin Qian stated that as a traditionally friendly neighboring country, China continues to support Nepal in safeguarding its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
He emphasized China’s commitment to supporting Nepal in achieving unity, stability, development, and prosperity. Lin Qian affirmed that China is ready to maintain its longstanding friendship with Nepal’s new government, deepen practical cooperation, and advance the strategic partnership aimed at mutual development and prosperity for generations to come.
