Mumbai, March 12: Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G in India, marking the successor to last year’s Y31 Pro. This new model introduces several enhancements, including a larger display, a powerful MediaTek processor, improved durability, and a significantly larger battery.
The device boasts a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach peak brightness levels of up to 1250 nits. The display is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified, designed to minimize flicker during extended usage.
At its core, the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo 4nm processor, which operates at clock speeds of up to 2.5GHz. This replaces the Dimensity 7300 found in its predecessor. The phone is equipped with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and offers storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1. It runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and supports dual nano-SIM cards with 5G SA and NSA band compatibility.

The device is powered by a robust 7200mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It measures 166.64 × 78.43 × 8.39mm in Festive Red and 8.49mm in Noble Gold, weighing in at 219g.
