Vivo X300 Ultra Set to Launch in India on May 7

Mumbai, April 14: Vivo’s upcoming Ultra smartphone is poised to debut in India sooner than anticipated. A report from Smartprix, referencing Yogesh Brar, indicates that the Vivo X300 Ultra could launch on May 7, with sales expected to commence around May 14. Unlike last year’s X200 Ultra, which remained exclusive to its home market, this launch marks a swift turnaround for the brand.

The device features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for both daily tasks and gaming. This strong specification ensures a smooth user experience. It is anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, guaranteeing robust performance.

The camera setup is particularly noteworthy. The X300 Ultra boasts a triple rear camera system, including two 200MP sensors. Such a configuration is rare, even among flagship models, raising curiosity about Vivo’s implementation. Additionally, it includes a 50MP front camera for high-quality selfies.

In terms of battery life, the Chinese variant is equipped with a 6,600mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. This should provide ample power for a full day, with a complete recharge taking approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The device operates on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.

While pricing details remain undisclosed, it is expected to fall within the premium segment. For reference, in its home market, the phone starts at 6,999 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model and reaches up to 11,999 yuan for the 16GB + 1TB Satellite Edition, which includes a photography kit.
