Vivo Pad 6 Pro Leak Unveils Impressive Specs and Features

Mumbai, March 1: Vivo’s upcoming premium tablet is starting to take shape. A recent leak from China suggests details about the Vivo Pad 6 Pro, indicating a focus on enhanced power, a larger battery, and an ongoing commitment to high-end Android devices.

The information comes from Digital Chat Station on Weibo. While the tipster did not specifically name the device, the specifications align with expectations for a Pad 6 Pro refresh or possibly an iQOO-branded variant utilizing similar hardware.

One of the most significant changes could be the processor. Instead of continuing with MediaTek, the new tablet is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. If accurate, this would represent a major upgrade, making it suitable for multitasking, creative tasks, and high-frame-rate gaming.

The leak indicates that the display will measure 13.2 inches, a slight increase from the previous generation’s 13-inch display. There are also suggestions of a high refresh rate, potentially reaching 144Hz. On a screen of this size, smoothness is particularly noticeable, especially during scrolling and media consumption. While resolution details remain unconfirmed, Vivo typically aims for high standards in this category.

Camera specifications appear to remain consistent. The leak mentions a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front camera, which are standard for tablets—adequate for video calls and document scanning, but not much beyond that.

Battery capacity is where the new model stands out. The Pad 6 Pro is expected to feature approximately a 13,000mAh battery, an increase from the 12,050mAh in the previous version. This is already substantial for a tablet. Charging capabilities are rumored to reach up to 90W.

Regarding the launch timeline, the same source indicates a March 2026 release in China. Vivo may unveil the tablet alongside the X300 Ultra and X300s smartphones, following a familiar pattern. There is currently no information on global availability.

The Android tablet market has been steadily gaining traction, particularly in the larger-screen segment. Vivo appears to be targeting users who desire laptop-like screen space without compromising on performance. If priced competitively, this model could become a strong contender for power users who prefer not to opt for an iPad.
