Mumbai, September 30 (Daily Kiran) : In a recent episode of the podcast “Dance and Masti,” actor Vivek Oberoi reminisced about his long-standing friendship with choreographer Bosco Martis, revealing a surprising detail from their youth. The two have known each other since their school days and have shared many experiences throughout their careers.
Oberoi disclosed that Martis had serious intentions of getting married at just 19 years old. However, he was not of legal age to wed, prompting him to devise a unique plan. Martis aimed to have an older person sign the marriage registration documents, allowing him to marry the girl. He intended to make the marriage official once he turned 21.
Upon learning of Martis’ plan, Oberoi intervened, cautioning him against taking such a step at that young age. “At that time, our perspectives on life were quite different,” he remarked.
During the podcast, Oberoi also reflected on the struggles Martis faced in the early stages of his career. He noted that Bosco worked hard to establish himself in the industry without a significant support system. “I’ve witnessed his journey closely, which is why our friendship is so special,” Oberoi explained.
Martis reciprocated the sentiment by sharing a story from Oberoi’s early career. He recalled the release of Oberoi’s films “Company” and “Saathiya,” which brought him considerable recognition. After some time, Martis reached out to Oberoi with a desire to collaborate on a song.
Initially, Martis felt a bit taken aback by Oberoi’s request for a detailed breakdown of the creative ideas for the song. “At that moment, I thought he was being a bit too arrogant,” he admitted. However, with time, he came to realize the necessity of being well-prepared when working with a star who had put in so much effort to carve out his niche in the industry.
