ViewSonic Unveils 4K Android 16 Interactive Displays for Classrooms at Bett 2026

ViewSonic has introduced two new series of interactive displays at Bett 2026, marking the launch of what it describes as the first Android 16-powered interactive flat panels designed specifically for education. The ViewBoard IFP35-1 and IFP41-1 series target both K–12 and higher education institutions, emphasising quick responsiveness, dependable daily performance, and enhanced software integration.

Both series come with EDLA certification and operate on Android 16, powered by an eight-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can access Google Play applications, and the displays also function as standard monitors compatible with computers, gaming consoles, DVD or Blu-ray players, and other media devices. Available screen sizes range from 55 inches to 98 inches, all offering 4K resolution at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a contrast ratio of 5000:1, a response time of 6.5 milliseconds, and brightness of 300 nits.

Touch input capabilities are a prominent feature. When operated on Android 16 or connected to a Windows PC, the displays support up to 64 simultaneous touch points, along with palm rejection technology to enhance accuracy in writing and annotation. Additional features include built-in ambient light sensors that automatically adjust screen brightness and PIR motion sensors that help conserve energy by switching the display on when the classroom is occupied and off when empty.

The standard ViewBoard IFP35-1 model includes dual 20W speakers. Meanwhile, the ViewBoard IFP41-1 is tailored for more interactive and discussion-based learning environments. It adds a 15W subwoofer and eight integrated microphones to deliver clearer audio and improved voice capture. This model also supports instant Write Away annotation, enabling real-time collaboration during lessons.

Both series are equipped with ViewSonic’s myViewBoard digital whiteboarding software, which facilitates collaborative learning, real-time participation, and accessibility features. At Bett 2026, ViewSonic also showcased its broader education ecosystem, combining myViewBoard with AirSync for wireless casting and Manager for streamlined centralized IT management.

Pricing details are yet to be announced, with availability expected in the second half of 2026.
