
Lucknow, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : The “Rang De Basanti” campaign in Uttar Pradesh is gaining momentum, aiming to provide a platform for youth to express creativity while promoting positive messages against the culture of fear and mafia rule. This initiative has been organizing events across various cities to engage a large number of students.
Recently, the campaign team visited Nav Yug Kanya Degree College in Rajendra Nagar, Lucknow, where they interacted with female students about the importance of education, innovation, and AI-based learning. The discussions also focused on the positive uses of social media and its role in creative expression.
Students eagerly participated in various activities, including quizzes and talent showcases. College Principal Manjula Upadhyay emphasized the value of platforms like Rang De Basanti for students, providing them with opportunities to hone and present their skills.
During the event, students displayed their talents through creative activities such as ramp walks, singing, debates, and poetry recitals. The campaign team recognized outstanding performers, awarding trophies to participants like Manvi Rajput, Aamna Asad, Roshni Chaudhary, Vartika, Shagun, and Kuleshta.
The state coordinator of Rang De Basanti mentioned that qualified students from various districts are being selected as part of the campaign. Selected students will receive financial assistance of ₹15,000 to support their educational and innovative pursuits. Application forms are available on the campaign’s Instagram page and website.
The team is rapidly expanding its reach by organizing events in multiple districts. Previous activities have included a poetry conference at Allahabad University, wall painting at Lucknow University, and the launch of a comic book at SD College in Muzaffarnagar.
