Lucknow, July 19: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Barabanki district on Monday, July 20. During his visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for 82 development projects worth over ₹542 crore. The Chief Minister will focus on various initiatives in the Ramnagar and Dariyabad assembly constituencies.
The main event will take place at the premises behind the Lodheshwar Mahadev Temple in Ramnagar, where he will kick off the development projects for both constituencies.
In the Ramnagar assembly area, the Chief Minister will inaugurate 14 projects costing more than ₹104 crore and will lay the foundation for 22 new projects worth over ₹178 crore.
In the Dariyabad assembly area, he will inaugurate 12 projects worth over ₹29 crore and lay the foundation for 34 projects exceeding ₹231 crore.
In total, work will commence or be inaugurated on 82 projects across both assembly areas, with a cumulative cost exceeding ₹542 crore.
The event will also see the presence of several dignitaries, including State Minister for Prisons Suresh Rahi, State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Satish Chandra Sharma, District Panchayat Administrator Rajrani Rawat, and various other local representatives.
Earlier, on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the new headquarters of the Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), built at a cost of over ₹200 crore. He also launched the authority’s new website and reviewed an exhibition related to disaster management.
During this occasion, he honored eight personnel from the SDRF, PAC, and Fire Services who risked their lives to save others. He emphasized that the state government prioritizes disaster management and will ensure no financial constraints in this area. He also mentioned plans to honor outstanding personnel from other departments and brave citizens who save lives during human-wildlife conflicts.
The Chief Minister’s visit to Barabanki is considered significant for the district’s development. The completion of these projects is expected to accelerate infrastructure, public facilities, and overall development in the region.
