Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Serves Mid-Day Meal to Students, Encourages School Attendance

Varanasi, April 4: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath engaged with students during the launch of the ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ by serving mid-day meals. He also distributed school bags, books, and gifts to the children, promoting awareness about education by honoring proficient schools and students.

At the event held at the Composite School in Shivpur, Varanasi, Chief Minister Adityanath showcased a warm demeanor as he personally served mid-day meals, bringing joy to the children. He urged them to attend school daily and study diligently, to which the students responded enthusiastically.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed school bags, textbooks, kits, gifts, and chocolates to students from classes one to eight, creating an emotional atmosphere filled with the children’s innocent smiles and excitement. He awarded certificates to the principals of five ‘Nipun Vidyalayas’ in the district and presented prizes to five ‘Nipun Students’.

During the program, a booklet titled ‘Educational Innovations and Achievements’ was launched, and a short film related to the campaign was screened. The event began with a welcome address by the State Minister for Basic Education (Independent Charge), Sandeep Singh, while students from Arya Women’s Inter College performed a Saraswati Vandana. The presence of local representatives and officials added grandeur to the occasion.

Earlier, certificates were awarded to the principals of five Nipun schools by the Chief Minister. The recipients included Kapil Dev Lal Bahadur from Nayapur Sevapuri Primary School, Sushmita Bharti from Shagunha Badgaon Primary School, Shashikant Singh from Faridpur Development Area Chiraiyaganj Primary School, Neetu Yadav from Bhatsar Composite School, and Preeti Trivedi from Mahamurganj Composite School.
