UPESSC Recruitment Alert: Apply Now for 107 Assistant Professor Positions by May 27

Lucknow, May 26: A fantastic opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to build a career in the academic field. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially announced the recruitment of 107 Assistant Professor (Sahayak Acharya) positions and is inviting applications.

The online application process for these vacancies commenced on April 28 and will close on May 27. Eligible candidates wishing to fill out the application form can complete their registration on the commission’s official portal within the stipulated time. Additionally, a correction window will be available until May 30 for candidates who may make errors while filling out the form.

Candidates applying for the Assistant Professor position must possess a postgraduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Social Science, or Humanities from a recognized university/institution, with a minimum of 55% marks. Furthermore, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria and skills.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination worth 200 marks, followed by an interview and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹15,600 to ₹39,100, along with additional benefits and allowances.

Notification regarding the examination districts will be released on the official website on July 18. Admit cards will be issued on July 25, and the written examination is scheduled for July 28.

While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹2,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹1,000 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates. Candidates appearing for the interview will also need to pay the designated fee according to their category, which is ₹800 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and ₹400 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Uttar Pradesh residents).
