The Uttar Pradesh Madarsa Education Council has announced the exam schedule for the Secondary (Munshi/Maulvi) and Senior Secondary (Alim) board examinations for 2026. The exams will commence on February 9 and conclude on February 14, 2026.
Secondary (Munshi/Maulvi) Exam Dates:
February 9, 2026: Theology (Shia/Sunni) for both Munshi (Secondary Persian) and Maulvi (Secondary Arabic)
February 10, 2026: Persian Literature for Munshi; Arabic Literature for Maulvi
February 11, 2026: Urdu Literature for both Munshi and Maulvi
February 12, 2026: General English for both streams
February 13, 2026: General Hindi for both streams
February 14, 2026: Mathematics, Home Science, Logic & Philosophy, Social Studies, Science, Tib for both Munshi and Maulvi
Senior Secondary (Alim) Exam Dates:
February 9, 2026: Theology (Shia/Sunni) for both Alim Persian and Alim Arabic
February 10, 2026: Persian Literature for Alim Persian; Arabic Literature for Alim Arabic
February 11, 2026: Urdu Literature for both Alim streams
February 12, 2026: General English for both streams
February 14, 2026: Home Science, General Hindi, Logic and Philosophy, Social Science, General Science, Tib, Typing for both Alim Persian and Alim Arabic
The exams will be conducted in two shifts across Uttar Pradesh. The Secondary (10th class) exams will be held from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, while the Senior Secondary (12th class) exams will take place in the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
