Jamshedpur, June 4: Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth visited Geeta Balmuchu, the BJP district president, who was injured in a recent road accident. During his visit, he inquired about her health and wished her a speedy recovery. Seth also criticized the current state of affairs in Jharkhand, targeting the state government. He commented on the upcoming visit of BJP National President Nitin Nabin and the recent fire incident in Malviya Nagar, Delhi.
Sanjay Seth noted that Geeta Balmuchu had recently been involved in a road accident. He emphasized that it is natural for party leaders and workers to check on her well-being during such times. He stated that the BJP operates not just as a political party but as a family, which motivated him to meet her. After consulting with doctors, he learned that her condition is steadily improving, and he hopes she will return to active politics within a month or two. Although she is still bedridden, she remains in contact with party workers via phone.
Criticizing the Jharkhand government, the Union Minister expressed concern over the poor state of basic amenities such as water, electricity, and education. He claimed that many schools in the state rely on just one teacher for instruction. He also pointed out that law and order have deteriorated, emboldening criminals.
Regarding Nitin Nabin’s visit to Jharkhand, Seth remarked that the arrival of the leader of the world’s largest political party is a source of excitement for party workers. He described it as a privilege for BJP members to welcome him to the land of Lord Birsa Munda. During this visit, workers will receive guidance on strengthening the organization, communicating the achievements of the central government, and discussing upcoming political strategies. He also mentioned that the accomplishments of Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s government over the past 12 years would be reviewed, along with discussions on the political climate in Jharkhand and the state government’s functioning.
Expressing sorrow over the fire incident in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, Sanjay Seth described it as a tragic and unfortunate event. He extended condolences to the families of the victims, stating that both the central and Delhi governments are taking the matter seriously. He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed his sadness over the incident and offered his sympathies to the affected families.
