Daman, August 2: A court in Daman has sentenced Umesh Patel, the current Member of Parliament from Daman and Diu, along with former District Panchayat President Sukha Jaggu Patel, to two years in prison for obstructing government work and assaulting police officers in a case dating back to 2011.
