NDA Leaders Respond to Prashant Kishors Allegations Ahead of Bankipur By-Election Results

Patna, August 2: Ahead of the results of the Bankipur Assembly by-election, NDA leaders have responded to allegations made by Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj Party. They claim that Kishor has already conceded defeat, which is why he is putting on a show.

Minister Ram Kripal Yadav stated, “Prashant Kishor has accepted his defeat, which is why he is acting out. If there were any irregularities, why didn’t he raise the issue on the same day? The booth-wise results showed he was lagging from the start, and only after that did he approach the Election Commission.”

He urged Kishor to accept his loss and apologize to the public before stepping back.

JDU General Secretary Shyam Rajak commented on Kishor’s accusations regarding the by-election, saying, “He will perform his drama, which will ultimately flop, as the public has already decided that the NDA, BJP, and Neeraj Kumar Sinha will win. The voters have cast their votes in the EVMs.”

Rajak added that Kishor often raises objections to his defeats and the public’s decisions, which is why his statements are not taken seriously.

Previously, Prashant Kishor met with the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar, accusing the Patna police and district administration of attempting to influence the election. He claimed that over the past few days, the police collaborated with the ruling party to intimidate voters and manipulate the electoral process.

Kishor mentioned that he, along with seven senior associates, submitted a formal complaint against the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Patna. He alleged that the SSP and his subordinate officers played a role in undermining the democratic process.
