Washington, April 18: President Donald Trump announced that Iran has agreed to reopen a crucial global shipping route. However, he cautioned that U.S. military pressure will persist until a significant agreement is reached.
During a meeting with Turning Point USA in Arizona, Trump stated that the Strait of Hormuz is fully open and ready for business, signaling a reduction in tensions in one of the world’s most sensitive energy corridors.
He clarified that the U.S. military will maintain a strong presence in the region. “The naval blockade will remain fully in effect until our transaction with Iran is 100% complete and signed,” he emphasized.
Trump also discussed plans to retrieve “nuclear dust,” remnants from past U.S. attacks in Iran. He stated, “We will acquire it and bring it back to America,” suggesting a joint excavation operation for this purpose.

He expressed gratitude to several countries for their cooperation, thanking Pakistan and its great field marshal, as well as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait for their significant assistance.
Trump criticized America’s European allies, arguing that Washington should rely less on traditional partnerships. Referring to NATO, he remarked, “When we needed them, they were completely useless. We must trust ourselves.”
He asserted that the U.S. has built the largest military in history and emphasized self-reliance in future engagements.
