New Delhi, May 29: On the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, known as the champion of farmers, various Chief Ministers, including Yogi Adityanath, paid their respects. They emphasized his legacy as a beacon of inspiration for farmers.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his tribute on X, stating, “On the death anniversary of the former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, Chaudhary Charan Singh, who brought the voices of farmers, laborers, and rural India to the national discourse, I pay my humble respects. The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) paid tribute through several posts, stating, “We honor the immortal memories of Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh. His thoughts and commitment to farmers will always remain alive.”
In another post, they noted, “To understand India’s development journey, one must understand the thoughts of Chaudhary Charan Singh. He firmly believed that the path to national prosperity passes through villages, fields, and farms. The RLD further stated, “Chaudhary Sahab historically brought Indian politics from the corridors of power to the fields, villages, and farmers’ gatherings. His life remains a living symbol of simplicity, principles, and unwavering dedication to farmers’ interests.
