Uttar Pradesh to Shine as Global Sourcing Hub at UPIATS 2026 in Greater Noida
Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026 aims to establish the state as a global sourcing hub, featuring over 2,400 exhibitors and 85 countries.

Greater Noida, September 24 (Daily Kiran) : The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPIATS) 2026 is set to commence on September 25 in Greater Noida, with the goal of establishing the state as a major global sourcing and trading hub. This event, running until September 29 at the India Expo Centre and Mart, will showcase Uttar Pradesh’s industrial capabilities, including MSMEs, One District One Product (ODOP) items, handicrafts, agriculture, textiles, food processing, modern technologies, and emerging industries.
Bhupendra Chaudhary, the state’s Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, emphasized that this fourth edition of UPIATS will serve as a vital platform for connecting local entrepreneurs, manufacturers, exporters, and traders with domestic and international markets. Organizers anticipate participation from over 2,400 exhibitors, alongside more than 150,000 B2B buyers and trade visitors, and over 450,000 general visitors, including more than 550 international buyers from 85 countries.
The event will be inaugurated by Amit Shah, the Union Minister for Home and Cooperation, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This year, the international aspect of the trade show has been expanded, with six partner countries—Austria, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Belarus, and Vietnam—participating to foster trade partnerships, technical cooperation, investment, sourcing, and access to new international markets.
Leading up to the event, registrations from foreign buyers across 72 countries have already been received. Through the FIEO-hosted buyer program, importers, distributors, retailers, sourcing agents, procurement heads, trade associations, and business entities are being connected. B2B matchmaking, networking opportunities, and business sessions will facilitate direct business dialogues between exhibitors and buyers.
Minister Chaudhary noted that MSMEs are the backbone of Uttar Pradesh’s economy, with over 9.6 million MSME units in the state. The government is focused on developing a business ecosystem that enables entrepreneurs to compete in global markets through innovation. UPIATS aims to link local products with new markets, investment, business expansion, and job opportunities.
The trade show will cover various sectors, including agriculture, automobiles, EV components, aviation, defense, electronics, e-commerce, IT, smart city solutions, film and entertainment, fisheries, dairy, food processing, FMCG, horticulture, handicrafts, health, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, real estate, leather, tourism, hospitality, sports, toys, renewable energy, power, logistics, warehousing, education, skill development, packaging, and waste management.
Additionally, UPIATS 2026 will highlight Uttar Pradesh’s cultural and culinary identity. This year introduces “One District, One Cuisine,” showcasing traditional dishes, local recipes, and culinary heritage from various districts to a global audience.
The five-day program will feature business engagements, knowledge sessions, cultural events, live performances, awards, fashion shows, and laser shows. Knowledge sessions will cover emerging areas like artificial intelligence, electronics manufacturing, digital trade, food processing, MSMEs, and global free trade agreements.
Building on the success of the previous three editions, UPIATS 2026 follows a record-breaking 2025 event attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which saw over 507,000 visitors, including 140,735 B2B attendees, and featured 2,228 exhibitors across more than 35,000 square meters.
The official UPIATS platform reported that the 2025 edition resulted in over 2,400 MOUs valued at approximately ₹1,882 crores, alongside business inquiries exceeding ₹11,200 crores. More than 550 international buyers from 85 countries were also involved through FIEO.
This year, digital enhancements have been integrated, allowing buyers and exhibitors to identify business opportunities and schedule B2B meetings through the UPIATS app. Digital matchmaking will help participants plan business meetings more effectively.
Organizers state that UPIATS 2026 is not just about showcasing products but also about connecting global buyers, investors, and the business community with Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing capabilities, MSME ecosystem, ODOP and ODOC products, agriculture, handicrafts, textiles, food, tourism, innovation, and modern industries.
The event will run from September 25 to 29, with business hours from 11 AM to 3 PM and public hours from 3 PM to 8 PM. The Uttar Pradesh government and India Exposition Mart Limited are hosting the event, with the theme “Ultimate Sourcing Begins Here…”
