New Delhi, August 1: Today marks the 144th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon, born on August 1, 1882, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and several other leaders paid their respects.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh took to social media platform X, stating, “On the birth anniversary of Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon, I pay my heartfelt tributes. He played a pivotal role in various movements of the Indian freedom struggle. Through his eloquent writings, he raised social awareness and instilled national consciousness.
