Tragic Murder Case in Mohali: Dimples Last Rites to Be Held in Patiala

Patiala, June 5: In a shocking incident, Dimple, a female employee, was brutally stabbed to death at a private office in Mohali. The police investigation has revealed several crucial details about the case. Following the incident, a wave of grief and anger has engulfed Dimple’s family home in Patiala. Her last rites are scheduled to take place on Friday after the completion of the post-mortem process.

Dimple, a resident of the Topkhana Mor area in Patiala, was identified as being approximately 28 to 29 years old. She had been employed in Mohali for nearly three years.

According to police reports, the accused, Harjinder Mann, suddenly attacked Dimple with a knife while she was seated at her workstation. Investigations indicate that he stabbed her approximately 25 to 30 times. After committing the act, he reportedly attempted to take his own life by inflicting 10 to 15 stab wounds on himself.

Authorities state that the investigation is being conducted based on CCTV footage, forensic evidence, and other technical proofs. Preliminary findings suggest that the attack occurred around 7 PM during a shift change.

In the aftermath of the incident, a large number of relatives, friends, and local residents have gathered to support Dimple’s family. Her family described her as a very calm individual and the only sister to her two brothers.

The family expressed that they had no prior knowledge of any relationship or friendship between Dimple and Harjinder Mann. They stated that had they been aware, they would have sought to mediate a resolution between the two parties.

The family has voiced their deep sorrow over this tragic event and is demanding strict legal action against the accused. They emphasized that this incident has shaken their entire family to its core.

Currently, the police are investigating all aspects of the case. Preparations for Dimple’s last rites are underway in Patiala, and her family continues to seek justice.
