Tragic Incident in Danapur: 14-Year-Old Boy Dies While Playing on Swing

Danapur, June 1: A heartbreaking incident occurred in Danapur, Bihar, where a 14-year-old boy lost his life while playing on a swing made from a sari. The tragedy unfolded when the sari became entangled around his neck, leading to suffocation. The family is in mourning, and the police are investigating all aspects of the case.

The incident took place in the Manjhauli village of Phulwari Sharif, Danapur. Aditya Kumar was playing near a peepal tree close to his home. He was alone on the sari swing when the fabric tightened around his neck, cutting off his air supply.

Reports indicate that Aditya was by himself, and no one was available to assist him in time, resulting in his tragic death. A passerby noticed him hanging and alerted the family.

Relatives managed to bring Aditya down and rushed him to the hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Family members shared that several children regularly played near the peepal tree. A swing made from a sari was set up there for them, but on that fateful day, Aditya was alone. It remains unclear how the sari became so tightly wrapped around his neck, leading to his death.

One family member mentioned that they were unaware of the incident until someone informed them. By the time they reached the scene, it was too late. Many boys frequented the area, but on the day of the incident, Aditya was the only one present.

Aditya’s aunt expressed her shock, stating that they had no prior knowledge of the situation. They learned of the tragedy only after being notified. The police are currently investigating the possibility of foul play in this unfortunate event.
