Tragic Fire in Bhiwadi Claims Lives, Leaders Express Condolences

New Delhi, February 16: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fire incident in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, which resulted in the loss of lives. They also wished for the swift recovery of the injured.

The Vice President took to social media platform X, stating, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic incident of fire in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. My heartfelt condolences to the affected families, and I pray for the quick recovery of the injured.”

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) shared a message from PM Modi on X, saying, “The fire incident in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, is extremely tragic and painful. I extend my deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his sorrow over the incident, writing on X, “The news of loss of life due to the fire in a factory in the Khushkheda industrial area of Bhiwadi is very distressing. I have directed the district administration to carry out relief and rescue operations. I pray for the peace of the departed souls and wish for the quick recovery of the injured.”

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also expressed her grief, stating, “The unfortunate incident of fire in the chemical and firecracker factory in Bhiwadi is extremely sad and heartbreaking. I pray that the departed souls find a place in the divine and that the bereaved families find strength and patience during this difficult time. I wish for the swift recovery of the injured.”

The fire broke out in a chemical factory in Bhiwadi, located in the Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan, resulting in the deaths of seven workers. Officials confirmed that around 25 laborers were present at the site when the fire erupted around 9:30 AM at plot number G-1-118 B in the Khushkheda Karoli industrial area.

Initial reports indicate that the fire suddenly ignited inside a private industrial unit and spread rapidly, engulfing large portions of the factory within minutes.
