
Patna, August 30: A tragic incident in the Baidhnath subdivision of Bihar’s capital, Patna, has left the community in shock following the suspicious deaths of four young men. The incident reportedly occurred in the Saidpur neighborhood of Beidhna village.
Local residents allege that the four youths consumed toxic alcohol. However, the police have yet to confirm the cause of death, pending post-mortem and investigation reports.
The deceased have been identified as Vikas, Shashi, Pankaj, and Rishu. Reports indicate that all four worked at NTPC and were hosting a non-vegetarian party in the village on Sunday. During the gathering, they allegedly consumed alcohol along with fish, bread, and rice. Shortly after, their health deteriorated, and they lost consciousness. Family members and locals rushed them to the Baidhnath sub-divisional hospital.
Upon arrival, doctors provided initial treatment, but due to their critical condition, the four were referred to Patna for advanced care. Unfortunately, they succumbed to their condition en route to the hospital. Dr. Shreya Shekhar from the Baidhnath sub-divisional hospital stated that the patients were in extremely serious condition upon arrival.
Medical professionals suspect that the deterioration in their health may be linked to the consumption of a narcotic or toxic substance. However, the exact cause of death will only be determined after the post-mortem and further investigations.
The police have arrived at the scene and are conducting an inquiry. They have initiated the process of sending the bodies for post-mortem examination and are working to ascertain whether the youths consumed alcohol or any other substances. Police officials have stated that the true cause of death will be revealed following the post-mortem report and investigation.
