Odisha SI Recruitment Exam: Candidates Must Update Data by October 29, OUSSSSC Announces

Bhubaneswar, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : The Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSSSC) has issued an important notification for candidates applying for the Combined Police Service Examination-2024 (CPS Exam-2024). All applicants are required to update and validate their data by October 29.

From October 15 to October 29, 2026, candidates can update and verify their application information online. This service will be available on the official OUSSSSC website, opening at 10 AM on October 15 and closing at 10 PM on October 29.

The commission clarified that this directive applies to all applicants, including those eligible under age relaxation rules. It emphasized that only the updated and verified data will be considered final for all subsequent stages of the examination process. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to complete this process within the stipulated time frame. Failure to do so may result in the acceptance of outdated data, potentially causing issues later.

This notification was issued on October 14, 2026, under office order number 713/OUSSSSC, following the chairman’s directive.

Notably, the SI recruitment exam in Odisha has been under scrutiny due to a previous paper leak controversy. Last October, the exam was canceled after the leak was reported, leading to investigations by the CBI and ED. The OUSSSSC is now moving forward with a renewed examination process.

The commission urges candidates not to wait until the deadline and to promptly verify their information on the website. They are advised to carefully check details such as name, date of birth, category, educational qualifications, and other relevant information.
