Kolkata, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : Kunal Ghosh, a prominent leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), addressed the media on Wednesday, expressing curiosity about whether the faction led by ‘Takiya’ intends to contest the upcoming assembly by-elections using the ‘Takiya’ election symbol. According to recent reports, MP and lawyer Kalyan Banerjee is managing the situation and will provide detailed information.

Ghosh stated that Mamata Banerjee is closely monitoring developments. Kalyan is leading this effort. The Election Commission has given our team until 4 PM tomorrow to submit all evidence and documents. If that is the case, they will proceed with the evidence, and a meeting will be held. However, the scrutiny period will have passed by then. The scrutiny is scheduled for tomorrow. If the deadline for scrutiny lapses, the status quo will remain as per legal norms. According to the Election Commission’s records, the All India Trinamool Congress is under the authority of Mamata Banerjee and the TMC.
