Bihar Leaders Condemn CJP Protests in Delhi, Label It as a Bid for Chaos

Patna, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : Bihar leaders have sharply reacted to the recent protests by the Coalition for Justice and Peace (CJP) in Delhi, accusing participants of attempting to create chaos. They expressed concerns that some individuals are trying to position themselves as leaders while destabilizing the country.

Sanjay Sarawagi, the President of the Bihar BJP, stated, “The Congress and opposition parties are trying to pressure the Election Commission through the CJP’s movement. The nation is watching. Initially, students thought the movement addressed their interests, but now their true intentions are clear. This protest will have no impact. Security has been increased in Delhi to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of citizens.”

BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy commented on the heightened security during the protests, saying, “We have seen how incidents of arson occurred in Bihar. The government always ensures order, and if you challenge the government and disrupt law and order, it is the government’s responsibility to restore it. This is nothing new.”

Minister Ram Kripal Yadav remarked, “Some individuals want to become leaders and create chaos in the country. They aim to disrupt law and order. There are agents of certain parties who prefer to stay in the shadows while funding these activities.” He added, “I believe that nothing will come of the CJP’s actions. The public will not be misled, as they recognize the forces attempting to incite unrest.”

Regarding the involvement of leftist parties in the CJP protests and Congress’s distancing from them, Yadav stated, “The left parties are participating in the CJP’s protests, but Congress is not fully on board. There is no unity among them; they are fragmented. They may continue their protests, but they will not affect the public. The people understand that some among them seek to create instability in the country.”

Minister Mithilesh Tiwari addressed the disruptions caused by the protests, including train cancellations and metro station closures, saying, “We don’t know which factions might weaponize the situation, which is why the government is on high alert.” He emphasized that the public understands the CJP’s true objectives, noting that they are merely acting as fronts for the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress. “People are no longer aligned with them,” he said.

Tiwari also apologized to passengers affected by the disruptions, stating, “When a crisis arises, the citizens stand with the government. This is not a crisis; it’s an internal security issue.” He referenced a Supreme Court comment, “One does not use a hammer to swat flies,” affirming that the government is handling the situation with sensitivity.

JDU leader Shyam Rajak commented on Congress’s distance from the CJP protests, stating that a party’s decisions are its internal matters. He noted that just because one organization announces a movement does not mean others must join in.

Tensions remain high as the protests continue, with leaders from Bihar asserting their commitment to maintaining order and stability.
