Tight Security Measures in Prayagraj for TGT Exam on June 3-4

Prayagraj, June 3: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is conducting the TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) exam on June 3 and 4 in two shifts. The examination is being held at various centers in Prayagraj, ensuring a peaceful and transparent process.

Candidates began gathering outside the exam centers early in the morning. Strict security measures have been implemented to ensure fairness and prevent cheating. According to regulations, electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, and digital watches are completely banned at the exam centers. Adherence to the rules outlined on the admit card is mandatory to prevent any irregularities during the examination.

Speaking about the arrangements at the exam center, teacher Vishwanath Mishra stated, “The TGT exam is being conducted by UPESSC on Wednesday and Thursday in two shifts. Our top priority is that candidates must possess both their original ID and admit card. Additionally, biometric verification is being conducted before candidates are allowed into the exam hall.”

A candidate from Jaunpur expressed confidence, saying, “I have prepared well for the exam. The security arrangements at the centers are stringent, and there is a strict prohibition on bringing any electronic items inside.”

Another candidate noted, “The arrangements at the exam center are excellent. Administrative teams are present to ensure a cheating-free examination. The commitment to conducting the exam properly is commendable.”

For the TGT recruitment exam, 614 centers have been established across 36 districts in Uttar Pradesh. UPESSC has announced a total of 3,539 positions, with 868,531 candidates having applied for the exam.
