
Beijing, May 11: China has successfully completed another cargo mission to its space station. The Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft docked with the Tianhe core module of the space station at 1:11 PM on Monday. This followed a successful launch from the Wenchang Space Launch Center at 8:14 AM the same day.
According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the spacecraft has entered the joint flight phase after docking. The Shenzhou-21 mission crew will soon enter Tianzhou-10 to carry out cargo transfer and other planned tasks.
Through Tianzhou-10, space suits, daily necessities for astronauts, propellant, and equipment for scientific experiments have been delivered to the space station. This marks the fifth cargo mission in the application and development phase of China’s space station.
Notably, this is the 39th launch mission of China’s manned spaceflight program. Additionally, it is the 641st flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets and the 10th mission of the Tianzhou cargo spacecraft.
