Tarun Chugh Pays Tribute to Nana Patekar, Critiques Rahul Gandhis Political Moves

Chandigarh, October 8 (Daily Kiran) : Senior BJP leader Tarun Chugh expressed deep sorrow over the passing of actor Nana Patekar. He described Patekar as a talented actor and a nationalist who dedicated himself to the welfare of the country. Chugh shared his thoughts during a recent conversation, highlighting the sadness surrounding Patekar’s death. He noted that despite achieving significant success, Patekar led a humble lifestyle, leaving a lasting impact through both his work and personal values.

Reflecting on their friendship, Chugh recalled witnessing Patekar’s dedication to his craft and his love for the nation. He characterized the news of Patekar’s demise as a personal loss, stating it brought him great anguish.

Chugh also took the opportunity to criticize Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi regarding their recent protests. He claimed that Gandhi is surrounded by advisors who continually provide him with new political scripts, attempting to relaunch his political career. Chugh likened Gandhi’s repeated attempts to regain public favor to a film that fails to resonate with its audience.

He accused the Congress party of attempting to tarnish India’s image, suggesting that they sometimes act like spokespersons for the Pakistani army. Chugh emphasized the importance of purging the voter list of deceased and duplicate entries for a healthy democracy. He pointed out that such cleansing has occurred multiple times since India’s independence, primarily during Congress‘s rule.

Regarding the recent CBI action at the residence of Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD, Chugh noted that the Enforcement Directorate had previously requested an investigation multiple times. He alleged that the Punjab government applies the law selectively, based on individuals’ positions and political affiliations. Chugh accused the Chief Minister’s office of corruption, claiming that monetary transactions are involved in transfers, postings, and promotions.

He stressed that the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s decision to assign the CBI investigation should clarify the situation. Chugh questioned Mann’s statement about receiving a clean chit in the case, asserting that if no wrongdoing occurred, there should be no fear in facing an investigation.
