Lucknow, May 25: The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) has issued a strong response to the recent remarks made by Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav. On Sunday, SBSP National General Secretary Arvind Rajbhar stated that party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has decided to embrace the moniker “Auto Wale Rajbhar.”
Rajbhar asserted that the criticisms from the opposition are only strengthening their party. He congratulated the SP, noting that it has made it easier for SBSP to communicate its message to the public. In a sarcastic tone, he remarked that a major political party is now acting as a “PR agency” for SBSP.
He accused Akhilesh Yadav of continuously targeting Om Prakash Rajbhar, but claimed that this is ultimately benefiting SBSP. Drawing a parallel with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was once mocked as a “chaiwala,” Rajbhar emphasized that if a tea seller can become Prime Minister, then Om Prakash Rajbhar, representing the marginalized and underprivileged, can also rise to prominence.
Rajbhar claimed that many SP workers and supporters are joining SBSP in large numbers. He mentioned that people are increasingly embracing the party, filling up “this auto” every day.
According to him, the public now believes that Akhilesh Yadav cannot engage with the poor, as he has become an “AC leader.” In contrast, he portrayed Om Prakash Rajbhar as a leader who stands with the poor and marginalized in all circumstances.
Rajbhar predicted that SBSP’s role in Uttar Pradesh politics will strengthen in the coming times. He asserted that in the 2027 assembly elections, the public will respond to leaders who merely make statements, while supporting those who address grassroots issues. His comments indicate a resurgence of verbal sparring between the SP and SBSP in the state’s political landscape.
