
New Delhi, June 5: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a recruitment notification for 227 positions, including Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA) and Upper Division Clerk (UDC), under the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2025.
The vacancies include 76 positions from the Central Passport Organization, Ministry of External Affairs; 42 from the Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service; 19 from the Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service; 24 from the Central Administrative Tribunal; 6 from the Central Vigilance Commission; 12 from the Election Commission of India; 4 from the Indian Forest Survey, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change; 8 from the National Technical Research Organization; 8 from the Directorate of Defence Estates; and 28 from the Office of the Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
The online application process began on June 5, with a deadline set for June 26. Candidates wishing to apply for the SSA/UDC positions can submit their registration forms on the official SSC portal until 11 PM on the final date.
After successfully applying online, candidates must send a hard copy of their application form along with all relevant documents to the Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission (Northern Region), Block Number 12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, by post, no later than 6 PM on July 3.
Applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates are required to have relevant work experience and meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 45 to 50 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a computer-based test, written examination, evaluation of service records, document verification, and merit list. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100. The computer-based test (CBT) is expected to be conducted between July and August.
