Spiritual Gathering Celebrates the Legacy of Lord Rishabhdev

New Delhi, February 8: Witnessing the Panchkalyaanak Mahamahotsav is not just a religious experience; it is a pathway to spiritual peace. This sentiment was expressed by Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta while addressing a grand spiritual gathering at the Jain Tirth Veeroday, Nirman Vihar, Delhi, held in honor of the Pran Pratishtha of the first Tirthankara, Lord Rishabhdev.

Highlighting the spiritual legacy of the first Tirthankara, Vijender Gupta stated that Lord Adinath (Rishabhdev) was the first to teach the world about civilization, labor, and duty. Through this Pran Pratishtha, we are reviving those eternal values in our lives. The Jain community has always played a leading role in nation-building through its unwavering commitment to simplicity and non-violence.

Referring to the teachings of the revered Gurudev, the Delhi BJP President emphasized the interconnection between spirituality and governance. He remarked that Gurudev’s philosophy of ‘Jan-Samvedana’ teaches us that whether in politics or social service, our ultimate goal should be the welfare of the person at the end of society’s line. This festival reminds us that power and position are meaningful only when they are rooted in service and compassion.

He expressed gratitude to the Panchkalyaanak Pratishtha Mahotsav Committee for organizing this grand event, noting that their virtuous efforts have elevated the cultural and spiritual pride of the national capital to new heights.

Emphasizing the universal message of Jainism, Vijender Gupta called on citizens to move forward with the resolve of ‘Live and Let Live.’ He stated that building a society where love, affection, and harmony flow continuously is a true tribute to the Tirthankaras.
