
Lucknow, March 15: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been established under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in response to the unfortunate incident at the CBG plant in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. The SIT will be chaired by the Commissioner of the Bareilly division.
CM Yogi announced on the social media platform ‘X’ that swift action has been taken, ensuring a fair and transparent investigation into the incident. The SIT will thoroughly examine all aspects of the case to identify any negligence or potential conspiracy, allowing for strict action against those responsible.
The Chief Minister mentioned that the main accused has already been arrested. However, if any signs of conspiracy or other criminal involvement emerge during the investigation, the state government will enforce its zero-tolerance policy towards crime and criminals.
In the wake of the incident, the administration has taken immediate steps to enhance security at the plant. A police outpost has been established within the CBG plant premises to prevent any future occurrences and ensure the safety of industrial establishments.
CM Yogi Adityanath expressed deep condolences to the affected families, stating that the state government stands firmly with them and is taking all necessary measures to ensure justice. He has instructed officials to conduct the investigation with utmost seriousness and to spare no one found guilty.
