New Delhi, September 18 (Daily Kiran) : The Indian cricket team secured a resounding victory against Afghanistan on September 18, 2026, at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, winning the third T20 match by 127 runs. This victory completed a clean sweep for India, clinching the three-match series 3-0.

Following the win, Indian captain Shreyas Iyer displayed remarkable sportsmanship that resonated with cricket fans from both nations. As the team gathered for a group photo with the trophy, Iyer called over Afghanistan‘s captain, Ibrahim Zadran, to join in the celebration.
