Pune, June 23: A significant revelation has emerged in the case of Ketan Agarwal’s death at Lohagad Fort in Pune district, Maharashtra. Initially deemed an accident, the incident now appears to be a murder investigation. The Lonavala rural police have uncovered evidence suggesting that Ketan was allegedly killed by his fiancée, Siya Goyal, in collusion with her supposed lover, Chetan.
According to reports, Ketan Agarwal fell to his death from Lohagad Fort on June 18. While the initial investigation classified it as an accident, the collection of technical and circumstantial evidence has shifted the focus of the inquiry.
The police investigation revealed that there were three attempts to take Ketan to Lohagad Fort. He consistently refused due to his fear of heights. However, after repeated persuasion from Siya, he eventually agreed to go.
During the investigation, police obtained crucial CCTV footage showing Chetan heading towards Lohagad in a hoodie despite the scorching sun. Authorities believe this footage is pivotal to the case. Additionally, other technical evidence has reinforced suspicions of murder, prompting police to pursue the investigation in that direction.
Currently, police have detained Siya Goyal and Chetan for questioning, and both have reportedly confessed to their involvement. The investigation is ongoing as police strive to uncover the complete truth behind the incident.
Meanwhile, Ketan’s father and family have demanded strict action against the accused, appealing for justice for their son.
Ketan’s uncle, Vijay Agarwal, stated, “We have learned that Ketan was murdered by our future daughter-in-law in collusion with her lover. Initially, we believed it was an accident, but the truth is unfolding differently. We are seeking justice from the police and hope the investigation will be conducted fairly, leading to severe punishment for the guilty.”
