Beijing, June 23: Amid escalating geopolitical competition, disruptions in major maritime trade routes, and rising trade protectionism, the global industrial supply chain is facing unprecedented uncertainty. The China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) has garnered worldwide attention in this context.
According to an online survey released by China Global Television Network (CGTN), under the China Media Group (CMG), 79.5% of respondents appreciated China’s contribution to promoting an open global economy, viewing it as a strong guardian and producer of global industrial and supply chains.
This year’s CISCE features participation from 676 enterprises and institutions across 85 countries, regions, and international organizations, with foreign exhibitors making up 36.5% of the total. When accounting for upstream and downstream partners brought by exhibitors, the actual number exceeds 1,200, with over 200 foreign trade delegations visiting China for discussions.
A significant 83.3% of respondents believe this reflects the strong appeal of the Chinese market and industrial chain for global enterprises. Meanwhile, 80.8% noted that the high popularity of CISCE stems not only from China’s unique advantages in its comprehensive industrial chain but also from the global business community’s shared expectation to strengthen international industrial and supply chain cooperation.
Notably, this year’s CISCE introduced an Artificial Intelligence (AI) pavilion for the first time, showcasing leading AI companies like Nvidia and Intel, collectively presenting a vision for the future industrial landscape. 66.8% of respondents praised CISCE for creating a vital international exchange and cooperation platform for integrating global AI technology and industrial chains.
Furthermore, 80.1% of respondents believe that as the world’s first national-level exhibition based on supply chain cooperation, CISCE will further enhance deep integration and collaboration within global industrial and supply chains.
The CISCE also released the “Beijing Initiative of the Fourth China International Supply Chain Expo,” calling for the practice of true multilateralism, steadfast defense of the multilateral trading system centered around the WTO, active alignment with high-level international economic and trade rules, and improvement of collaborative efficiency in industrial and supply chains.
In the survey, 82% of respondents felt that CISCE provides a valuable platform for maintaining the stability and smooth flow of global industrial and supply chains while promoting international economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. Additionally, 86.4% indicated that China’s joint efforts with all countries to build more flexible, sustainable, and mutually beneficial new development paradigms demonstrate its firm commitment as a responsible major country towards the stability of global industrial and supply chains.
It is noteworthy that the survey was published on CGTN’s English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Russian platforms, with a total of 4,753 participants sharing their views within 24 hours.
