Vapi, October 1 (Daily Kiran) : A shocking murder case has emerged from Vapi, Gujarat, where a young woman was brutally killed in broad daylight. The police quickly apprehended the suspect, revealing that he is the victim’s husband.
The incident occurred recently in the Chharvada area of Vapi, specifically within the Sankar Society. The victim, identified as Seema, operated a beauty parlor and was on her way to work when she was attacked. As she reached the ground floor of her building, a young man approached her and fatally assaulted her with a sharp weapon.
The gruesome nature of the crime sent shockwaves through the local community. Residents immediately alerted the authorities, and the Dungrara police responded swiftly. They arrested the suspect, identified as Paresh Kuntaria, who attempted to flee the scene.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police B.M. Dave, Paresh Kuntaria was married to Seema. The couple had a love marriage several years ago and shares a child. However, their relationship had deteriorated over the past four years, leading to ongoing disputes.
Paresh had previously attempted to harm Seema, resulting in a police report and his arrest. The couple had been living separately, with Seema residing in the Sai Sankar Society. Their ongoing legal issues were also under consideration in court.
On the day of the murder, Paresh visited Seema’s home, where a heated argument ensued over financial support she was seeking in their court case. In a fit of rage, Paresh fatally stabbed Seema in the middle of the society. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
