Mumbai, March 25: The grand finale of the reality show ‘The 50′ has concluded, revealing Shiv Thakare as the winner. He claimed the trophy among a competitive lineup of prominent contestants from the television and social media realms.
In a recent exclusive interview, Shiv shared his thoughts on the competition. When asked what was going through his mind while vying for the trophy, he stated, “Honestly, it was never about winning. I was working for my fans. It was a short and enjoyable journey with a new concept. I wanted my fans to feel happy and proud. They do so much for me, so I felt I should give something back.”
The show featured 50 contestants from the entertainment industry. By the finale, only a few remained, with Shiv emerging victorious and winning a cash prize of 5 million rupees. Expressing his joy over the win, Shiv remarked, “I believe this is a fantastic concept. Platforms like Colors and this show have created some fun experiences through entertainment. The fifty contestants worked hard to entertain, but the prize went to someone who truly needed it. This brings a lot of satisfaction and peace of mind.”
Shiv adopted a leader-based and alliance strategy throughout the show. Reflecting on this approach, he noted that it was not a safe strategy but a well-considered decision. He explained, “I think it’s essential to maintain balance. I know when to stay calm and when to step in. If people are already fighting, it’s not wise to jump in and create more chaos. I raised my voice when necessary and chose to resolve things peacefully when possible.”
He also commented on the nature of friendships within the show, stating, “There are no true friendships in the show. My real friends are outside. Inside, it was mostly about planning and helping each other advance. Perhaps there were mutual respect relationships with some, but overall, it was just a game.”
When asked about some contestants’ views that the show was not very favorable to women, Shiv acknowledged, “Yes, there were moments when things escalated to physical confrontations, but I respect others’ opinions. They are seniors, and their perspectives matter. From my side, I can only say that everyone experienced this game in their own way.”
