Mumbai, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Shilpa Shetty’s husband, actor Raj Kundra, is celebrating his birthday today in Mumbai. On this special occasion, Shetty took to social media to express her heartfelt wishes for his health, happiness, and a life filled with love and laughter.
She shared a montage video on Instagram, showcasing memorable moments spent together. In her post, she wrote, “Every day is special for me, but today is even more special because it’s your birthday, Raj. May you always be happy, healthy, and may your life be filled with love and laughter.”
She continued, “Another year to annoy you, laugh with you, and live every moment together. Happy birthday! Life is sweeter with you by my side.”
Shilpa and Raj first met during a promotional event for a perfume brand and a business meeting. After dating for some time, they tied the knot on November 22, 2009, in a grand ceremony in Khandala, Maharashtra.
Their wedding blended Punjabi and Bunt (South Indian) traditions, as Shilpa belongs to the Bunt community from Karnataka, while Raj hails from a Punjabi family. Shilpa wore an exquisite saree designed by Tarun Tahiliani, valued at around 5 million rupees, along with traditional jewelry worth millions.
The couple has two children: a son named Vian Raj Kundra and a daughter named Samisha Shetty Kundra.
On the professional front, Shilpa was last seen in the film ‘Sukhi,’ directed by Sonal Joshi, alongside Amit Sadh, Delnaaz Irani, Kusha Kapila, and Pavleen Gujral.
