Mumbai, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : The teaser for Yami Gautam’s horror-comedy film ‘Nayi Naveli’ was released on Thursday, showcasing a unique blend of fear, fantasy, and family emotions.
The film’s creators announced the teaser on Instagram, saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, a little request from Mohini. Here’s the teaser for ‘Nayi Naveli.’”
In the 1 minute and 31-second teaser, viewers are treated to a mix of bizarre and humorous situations set in a typical household. It begins with a seemingly ordinary family welcoming a new bride, played by Yami Gautam, who quickly wins everyone’s hearts. However, suspicion arises when her brother-in-law accuses her of being a witch.
As the teaser progresses, Yami’s character humorously declares, “I eat two witches, three vampires, and four ghosts for breakfast.”
Directed by Balaji Mohan, ‘Nayi Naveli’ is produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Color Yellow Productions and Amazon MGM Studios. The screenplay is crafted by Himanshu Sharma and Divya Nidhi Sharma, while the music is composed by the renowned G. V. Prakash Kumar.
The film revolves around a seemingly perfect bride who enters a chaotic family in Meerut. With her wisdom and love, she strives to bring happiness to a family previously plagued by troubles. As joy begins to fill the home, her brother-in-law grows suspicious, questioning if there’s more to this ideal bride than meets the eye. This suspicion weaves humor and excitement into the narrative.
Yami Gautam takes center stage in the lead role. ‘Nayi Naveli’ is set to hit theaters on October 16, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.
