Shahzad Poonawala Criticizes Opposition for Lack of Vision and Mission

New Delhi, March 22: Shahzad Poonawala, the national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has launched a scathing attack on the Indi alliance, describing it as a grand coalition lacking any clear purpose. He stated, “What kind of alliance is the Indi coalition? It has no mission or vision. It is merely characterized by confusion, internal discord, and a thirst for power.”

In reference to a controversial case involving the Punjab Warehouse Corporation, Poonawala leveled serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its leadership. He claimed that the Transport Minister was accused of intimidating a district manager to illegally secure a tender for a close associate. When the official refused, he faced harassment, including physical assault, which ultimately led him to take his own life.

Poonawala asserted that the suicide video directly implicated the minister, labeling it a “dying declaration” and an “open-and-shut case.” He accused the government of attempting to suppress the matter, citing connections involving Arvind Kejriwal, AAP, and other leaders.

Turning his attention to the Himachal Pradesh budget, Poonawala also criticized Rahul Gandhi’s “Khatakhat model.” He argued that wherever Congress has formed a government, the economic situation has deteriorated, citing examples from Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

He alleged that budget management in Himachal Pradesh has weakened, with allocations reduced and some officials facing salary cuts of up to 50%. Furthermore, he claimed that state employees went nearly six months without pay, and the government has failed to fulfill its promises, all while inflation continues to rise.
