
Hyderabad, June 18: In Telangana, three separate road accidents on Thursday resulted in the tragic deaths of at least seven individuals.
In the first incident, a speeding car collided with a divider in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district, near Hyderabad, and subsequently crashed into an oncoming truck. This accident claimed the lives of three family members. The collision occurred between Turkpally and Murharpally.
Reports indicate that the vehicle was traveling from Karimnagar to Hyderabad when the driver lost control, hitting the divider. The car then overturned and rolled onto the opposite side of the road, colliding with a truck.
In another incident in the Jangaon district of Telangana, three people lost their lives when a truck, suffering a tire puncture, struck a mini truck that was stationary on the Hyderabad-Warangal National Highway.
According to police, the accident occurred while the truck driver, a cleaner, and another individual were repairing the vehicle near Nellutla in the Lingalghunpur mandal. One person died at the scene, while two others succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. The deceased have been identified as Rohit, Rajendra, and Madhu.
Rohit operated a grocery store in the Devaruppala mandal of Jangaon, while Madhu hailed from the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. They were transporting grocery supplies to their store in Hyderabad when the mini truck suffered a tire puncture. As the three individuals got out to fix the tire, a truck approaching from behind struck them. The accident resulted in the deaths of mini-truck driver Rohit, Madhu, and cleaner Rajendra.
In a separate accident in the Vikarabad district, a collision between a truck and a motorcycle led to the death of one man. This incident occurred near Chigurulapally in the Parigi mandal. The deceased has been identified as Javed Pasha (30), a resident of Mominkalan in the same district.
