Senior Journalist Zoya Ahmed Hussain Launches Her Debut Book Wah Ri Zindagi

New Delhi, June 16: Senior journalist Zoya Ahmed Hussain’s debut book, ‘Wah Ri Zindagi,’ was officially launched today. This book is an emotional, diverse, and captivating collection of stories based on real-life experiences. The launch event attracted numerous distinguished figures from media, literature, arts, and public life.

The event took place at the India International Centre and began with a special audio-visual musical presentation featuring a song by renowned playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya. The lyrics of this song were inspired by the theme of the book, ‘Wah Ri Zindagi.’

Notable attendees included Kunwar Shekhar Vijender, senior journalist, writer, and former Rajya Sabha MP Shahid Siddiqui, satirist Prem Janmejay, senior journalist and author Jayanti Rangnathan, Professor Anshu Joshi from JNU’s School of International Studies, and senior journalist Kadambini Sharma. The program was hosted by anchor and Aaj Tak’s Executive Editor, Syed Ansari.

Additionally, TV Today Vice President Rehan Kidwai, theater artist Salim Arif, film actor Nasir Abdullah, PTI Video Section Editor Shaji Zaman, and several senior journalists such as Ramesh Menon, Amitabh Srivastava, Shishir Sinha, Prabal Pratap Singh, Anuj Khare, Vibhav Awasthi, Bichitramani Rath, Piyush Pandey, Parvez Sagar, Rafe Sultan, Ravinder Bawa, Suman Kansara, Kripal Singh, and Regional PF Commissioner Alok Yadav were also present.

Anuradha Prasad, Chairperson of BAG Films and Media Limited, welcomed and honored all guests. Speakers at the event praised the book, describing it as a sensitive portrayal of life experiences, emotions, relationships, and struggles, while also commending the author’s writing style.

In an interview, Zoya Ahmed Hussain shared that her book is a collection of seven stories based on various aspects of life. She stated, “These stories are fictional but rooted in real-life experiences.”
