Congress Responds to Sonam Wangchuks Advice on Humility in Celebrations

Lucknow, July 29: Congress leader Surendra Rajput has responded to social activist Sonam Wangchuk’s recent statements, emphasizing that children are already humble and should not be the focus of criticism. This remark comes in light of a viral video showcasing celebrations by the Cockroach Public Party (CJP), where Wangchuk urged supporters to celebrate with humility and decorum. He reminded everyone that with every victory comes responsibility, asserting that success should never come at the expense of others’ dignity. Wangchuk stressed the importance of empathy and humility in victory.

In a conversation in Lucknow, Rajput stated, “Children embody humility in their victories. The Congress party has always advocated for celebrating victories with grace.” He pointed out that students had even cooperated with the Delhi police during their departure. He criticized the harshness displayed by the Delhi police and Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, suggesting that Wangchuk should address those responsible rather than the students, who are inherently humble.

On AIMIM leader Waris Pathan’s comments regarding the ‘Vande Mataram Bill,’ Rajput remarked that both the BJP and AIMIM are emerging as anti-national forces. He emphasized that India belongs to all religions and that having one political party for Hindus and another for Muslims contradicts the Constitution.

Regarding the Bihar government’s decision to withdraw cases against students, Rajput condemned the treatment of students by the Bihar police as unjustifiable. He appealed to Prime Minister Modi to dismiss Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.

Rajput also criticized the welcome given to former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan outside Parliament, calling it a provocation towards students. He expressed concern that the BJP lacks a positive outlook towards students and their futures, viewing them as troublemakers.

In response to Kangana Ranaut’s statements, Rajput harshly criticized her, stating her comments should not be taken seriously. He noted that her mindset led her to join the BJP and become a Member of Parliament. He accused Ranaut of disliking children and the future of Generation Z, labeling her as a woman with a negative outlook.
