Lucknow, June 8: Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Nishad has responded to allegations made by Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding irregularities in donations for the Ram Temple.
In a recent conversation, Nishad criticized the opposition, stating they rely solely on posters and statements. He emphasized the importance of verifying facts before raising any issues. “Demands for investigations should be made only if the allegations are substantiated,” he said. “One should not act like an investigative agency without a proper inquiry.”
Nishad expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister for addressing any issues that come to his attention, ensuring that investigations are conducted. He asserted that action is taken against anyone found guilty, regardless of their influence. Until an investigation report is released, he deemed Yadav’s allegations baseless.
He further remarked that both Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi lack a coherent ideology, which he believes is why they remain distant from power. “The essence of socialist ideology is to promote it,” he stated. “While Congress has its own ideology, the BJP’s ideology is rooted in Indian civilization.”
Commenting on the upcoming ‘India’ alliance meeting, Nishad noted that the parties involved are fundamentally opposed to Congress policies. “While the meeting may show unity, internally, they are adversaries. This is why they separate during elections and contest independently.”
Nishad mentioned the NDA meeting scheduled for June 10, highlighting the coalition’s 25-year history. “We are going to Delhi to discuss our issues with the Prime Minister, who assures us of solutions,” he added.
He praised Prime Minister Modi for various initiatives, including the construction of the Ram Temple, the establishment of Nishadraj Fort, the abrogation of Article 370, and measures for reservation for the underprivileged. “We will continue to advocate for the rights of marginalized communities,” he affirmed.
Regarding the UP police recruitment exam, Nishad thanked the government for providing travel concessions to candidates. “The government has taken significant steps to support the youth,” he stated.
On the relocation of meat shops in Varanasi, he supported the decision, clarifying that the shops are not being shut down but rather organized. “The government is doing its job,” he concluded.
