Samsung Expands One UI 8 Stable Update to Seven More Smartphones

Seoul, October 14 (Daily Kiran): Samsung has broadened the rollout of its Android 16-based One UI 8 stable update, extending it to seven additional smartphones following its initial release for the Galaxy XCover7 last week. The update is now live for the Galaxy XCover7 Pro, along with several mid-range models from the Galaxy A and M series.

Devices Receiving the Update

The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro is the latest rugged model to receive the One UI 8 stable update, currently rolling out in South Korea under firmware version BYI6. A global rollout is expected in the coming weeks.

The Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G are also receiving the update in South Korea, identified by firmware versions GYI3 and GYI2, respectively.

Additionally, the Galaxy Wide 7 and Galaxy Quantum 3 have begun receiving the One UI 8 update in the same region, with firmware versions CYI6 and GYI4. Notably, these models are marketed internationally as the Galaxy M15 and Galaxy M53.

In India, Samsung has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy M34 and Galaxy M35, carrying firmware versions M346BXXU8EYI8 and M356BXXU5CY18, respectively.

How to Check for the Update

Users who haven’t yet received the One UI 8 stable update can check manually by navigating to Settings → Software Update → Download and Install.

The new One UI 8 brings several improvements in performance, privacy controls, and personalization options, along with smoother animations and tighter integration with Samsung’s ecosystem apps.

With this wider release, Samsung continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to software support across both flagship and mid-range devices.
