Salesforce Launches Multilingual AI Experience in India

Mumbai, May 19: Global tech giant Salesforce announced the launch of ‘Agentforce Voice’ in Hindi on Tuesday, aimed at providing Indian companies with a more natural, multilingual, and inclusive AI-driven customer experience.

Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO of Salesforce South Asia, emphasized that the next chapter of AI in India will not be written solely in coding languages but will be spoken in the languages of the people.

During the ‘Agentforce World Tour Mumbai 2026’ event, the company revealed that this new feature is designed to support natural Hindi and Hinglish conversations. This will enable companies to connect with customers more seamlessly and expand AI access to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

According to the company, this solution is built on the trusted Agentforce platform, integrating conversational AI, enterprise data, and workflows with stringent security measures and controls to ensure a secure, consistent, and policy-compliant customer experience.

This announcement comes at a time when voice technology is becoming a crucial medium for digital engagement, especially among people prioritizing non-English languages across India.

Bhattacharya stated, “In a vast country like India, the real impact of AI is only possible when it is conversational, inclusive, and contextually relevant. Voice is becoming the most natural medium for digital engagement, particularly in India, where millions of users are shifting towards mobile and voice-based experiences.”

She added, “With Hindi voice capabilities in Agentforce, we are helping companies create AI-driven customer experiences that understand not just words but also cultural nuances, intentions, and trust.”

Salesforce also announced the upcoming availability of ‘MuleSoft on Hyperforce’ in India, which will assist organizations in implementing integration, APIs, and AI-driven workflows on locally hosted infrastructure.

Bhattacharya noted, “India is an extraordinarily ambitious country, and for a long time, legacy systems have been seen as barriers to innovation. Cloud technology is changing this mindset by providing companies with a secure, scalable, and flexible foundation to connect data, applications, and workflows without the constraints of outdated systems.”

She further explained that by bringing MuleSoft on Hyperforce to India, they are providing companies, especially those in regulated sectors, with a framework to confidently transition to the cloud, adopt intelligent automation, and create next-generation digital experiences on locally hosted infrastructure.
