Mumbai, September 20 (Daily Kiran) : Shiv Sena spokesperson Shaina NC expressed her condolences following the tragic deaths of two individuals due to an electric shock near a Ganesh pandal in Lalbagh, Mumbai. She emphasized the need for stringent measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
In a recent statement, Shaina NC highlighted the importance of conducting thorough safety and fire audits. “We demand that investigations be comprehensive and that steps are taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur again. The families of the victims will receive justice,” she asserted.
Responding to a separate incident involving a high-speed BMW car crash that claimed three lives, Shaina urged young people to exercise caution while driving. “Haste leads to harm. I hope the younger generation understands that racing and reckless driving can sometimes cost lives. Please drive responsibly. Accidents happen, but many can be avoided with careful driving,” she advised.
Regarding the suicide of a student from IIT Bombay, she expressed concern over such incidents occurring in major educational institutions. “It is alarming when such events happen, and they must be investigated thoroughly. Whether it’s IIT or any other large institution, we expect a detailed inquiry into any suicide to prevent future tragedies,” she stated.
Shaina also criticized the Congress party for mocking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s compassionate gesture of offering a chair to an elderly woman during a public event. She condemned Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, calling them disrespectful. “This is not ‘the voice of students,’ but rather the voice of falsehood. Rahul Gandhi spreads rumors and disrespects the Prime Minister. His comments about the Prime Minister’s mother are appalling. If you cannot respect the Prime Minister and his position, how can you respect 1.4 billion people?” she argued.
On the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in various states, Shaina NC defended the Election Commission’s efforts. “What is SIR? The Election Commission conducts a cleaning process every few years to remove duplicate voters and those no longer residing in the area. If you oppose this, you are engaging in appeasement politics. If you want fair elections in the future, trust the Election Commission’s independent processes. If you have objections, file a complaint,” she concluded.
